Sadly, Shopify and WordPress don’t play nicely together when it comes to importing a blog. It only took three years and a pile of domains to determine that I really like blogging here. Shopify is very nice but it’s pricey and I don’t have the mass following that would justify continuing to spend money over there when I do not know what the hell I’m doing. It’s much cheaper to not know what the hell I’m doing over here!!
In the meantime, I have set up Woo Commerce which is very very much like Shopify. I’ll be setting up an email list and importing everyone from Shopify to here. Then I’ll be seeing about importing my blog posts and by the end of the month I will shut down that blog and everything will be here. What other presence I have online will redirect to here and that will be that. The Numerology Lady will be no more and I can run Maritime Mystic Art from here as well.
I am whittling myself down to SimpleSockMaking.com and this space. Too much web presence is just too much of a pain in the arse.
